Re: Nintendo 2DS Perfect ds10+/M01 machine?

'I like it! It actually will turn the DS-10+ into a proper "wedge" style desktop soft-synth! No stylus?

I say "Forge Ahead!". The DS-10 really suits this kind of material. Nice job; Can't wait to hear more!

Re: mistyminds - "Amitie (mas piano mix) "

I really like this. The lack of dynamics in the piano doesn't really bother me much, it just places it as a late 80's early '90's kind of vibe. Like Black Box and other contemporary stuff (that's a compliment). Of course that's the era of the M1 and people really milked it's on-board sequencer and c...

This travels through some very interesting passages. Nice. Parts of it have a very "library music" feel to it that is enhanced by the nifty visuals. Well done!

Re: RECORDINGS -> Recording audio from DS to your computer...

You need two channels for each DS for simultaneous recording in stereo. Do you need to record simultaneously for performance reasons? I use one of these: http://www.alesis.com/io26 It's firewire, has midi in and out, 8 channels with pretty darn good pre-amps for the price, inserts for every channel,...

Re: My first track. (16bit techno / tech house style)

Congratulations on a first track really well done. It really has an '80's "Jan Hammer" vibe that works. I like the melody and the 5ths harmony. When it "kicks in" at the 1 min mark things do start to happen in a very cool way. Very interesting combo of sounds. That bass sound is very cool. I also re...

Re: Korg Ms-20 Reissue

Yeah I know what you're saying about the keys; I like full sized keys as well but %86 is pretty close (a lot better than my MS-20 controller which I've gotten pretty used to) and it will be a stretch fitting this into my workspace let alone a full sized MS-20.

Re: Korg Ms-20 Reissue

I had a look at the German site before it went down and it looks to have MIDI. It is also only 15% smaller where the Legacy controller is %20 smaller. There were rumours that Korg was re-purposing Legacy Controller cases but not so! I will want one of these especially if they keep the cost low and i...

Re: Burst of Inspiration...4 New Tracks!

I like these especially Seagull and Des Plaines Bridge. In fact I wouldn't change the drums sounds on these two tracks, just re-balance them. The cymbals are a little loud compared to the snare and especially the kick drum. I really think the "vintage drum machine sound" benefits the vibe of these s...

Re: Creating cords with staggered notes and Delay

Hi, You can use a ramp LFO to "fade in" a note on the first pattern or the volume axis on the x/y grid (use the kaoss pad for smoothness) of the sequence and remove that patch/fade in on subsequent patterns. The real problem with what you want to do (if I understand correctly) is that the delay effe...

Re: RECORDINGS -> Recording audio from DS to your computer...

There are many inexpensive ways to get a stereo signal into an iPad/IPhone. The same people who make the iRig (IK Multimedia i believe) have a few themselves. The iRig is a great device don't get me wrong (I used it + amplitube for a gig I did in Cuba when I couldn't bring an amplifier) but unnecess...
