Re: SHUT (going for realistic sounding drums)

respect on the drums. props on the panning and overall production. it's really impressive to hear drums that sound so much like drums. wow.

nice crunchiness throughout. reminds me of a cross with idm in vein of igorrrr like mentioned above with ratatatesque influences... good sound design and overall melody and tone production. kudos.

Re: Remix comp?

Hey, so is this gonna be only remixing other songs made on the DS10 originally? I have a couple of remixes from people like Radiohead and Bonobo in the works for ages (not to mention I've been trying to make dub with various riddims, which would most definitely fill the bill for remix, no?). Sounds ...

Re: RECORDINGS -> Recording audio from DS to your computer...

Hello :) I'm having a bit trouble here getting a new mixer so I was thinking I could get some help here. I'll start from the beginning here. So, the power cord from my behringer xenyx 802 broke. I've been looking for replacements, but apparently they don't sell those. The option I found is to buy a ...

Re: Tropical Sunrise

cool melody!! but i don't like the lead instrument for it. more than hawaiian it sounds caribbean to me, reminiscent of something calypso-esque. i really have a problem digesting calypso. but in any case, i think it fits the tune really well and agree on the two comments about it being a track for s...

Re: The Whoop Kitchen (Grungy Intruments on DS-10 Plus)

Really groovy :) Nice sounds, man. The crunchy menacing bass sounds bad-ass. Everything is really tight holding everything else. I'd still take notice on the advice people have been giving on the dynamics of drums and toy around with the tune more. You never know when you're gonna stumble it somethi...

Re: Daft Punk or Justice Clap sound?

Hey, Can't give a patch because I lost one I had, but Snakecharmer gave really good insights on the clap sound. I remember a patch on youtube for a clap sound. tweak that thing and make it your own. On a sidenote, and again only adding to what was said before, you can move around the pitch/note on t...

it has happened to me, but not with good sounds...
tha carry over is usually something nefarious that i have to go around.
if it ever was something cool i didn't notice and probably still don't. wouldn't know what to tweak to make it happen.

examples would be welcomed!

"Man, I would love you do this. It would be great if someone else get interested and create a little set of Tinntinabulum pieces-or at least inspired by Pärt's music. I'll do a research and open a thread with some links and videos for the ones not knowing the system (that is in fact really simple an...

Re: Demos

Cheers carlosfer89! Thanks for listening :) I still haven't gotten around improving the first track. I feel it needs to be much more dynamic and fluid. It sounds kind of stuck to me and not very organic. I like the feel though. Gives me a sense of speed and want to keep it dancey, but the cut i reco...

Blown away by the composition (didn't get to hear ver.1) Really inspiring work. Such wonderful tone from the strings. i like the two versions and will have to listen more to decide which is more appealing to me. Kudos on such great work, both in terms of composition and sound synthesis. Truly, truly...

Ugly noises indeed, but sometimes those could be the ones you're looking for! :P

Thanks for listening and the input, all!! I appreciate it a lot :) Decktonic: I haven't even read anything about the .10s thing.
