EBM/Dark Electro track (not DS-10)

I started working on a EBM/Dark Electro album, hope you don't mind I post the first track here, even though no DS-10 was used (made with Reaper, some vst's, Kaossilator and a microphone I built out of an old phone ;) ). I'll incorporate some samples from the DS-10 in other tracks. http://www.lastfm....

Re: Your home/live setup !

Not really a setup as such, I've just put all my musical stuff together for the photo ;) I also use Cockos Reaper on the PC.

Re: My First M01

It's a shame they spent time on making that effect when you touch the x/y pad instead of adding a grid, which would be very useful. I've just modded my kaossilator with a grid, but it's not an option on the DS.

Re: DS-10 in a band - any tips?

Damn, we had a gig yesterday (with 5 other amateur bands) and it was a NIGHTMARE  Jesus... The tech guys just couldn't handle our awesomeness ;) The other bands were mostly your typical high-school thing, playing Nirvana covers with a guitar, bass, drums and vocal. Then we came in with a laptop...

Re: C64 "effect"

I bought mine on the local equivalent of ebay for peanuts, they were both untested and without a PSU, so I took the risk and got one seperately :)

Re: PRICE DROPS! (USA)

I've bought all my DS's (3 of them) broken on online auctions and I didn't pay more than $30 for any of them. If you can solder a bit it's usually dead easy to fix them. One of them was so broken it didn't turn on at all - I took a look at it when i got it and started laughing - a bit of the switch ...

Re: C64 "effect"

The one with you playing a Blade Runner-ish ;) tune with the 580 and a Casio. I've seen the other one too, I'll try it, but I'll have learn to play with the basic functions before I try the tricks (It's my first synth apart from the DS-10). I've also ordered a Kaossilator today which means that I'll...

C64 "effect"

I don't really know what to call it, just something fun I stumbled upon while changing the pitch live :)

Re: DS-10 in a band - any tips?

Thanks for the tips guys! :) I actually figured out a new and interesting way to use the DS with other instruments :) Don't know if anyone else is doing it, so maybe it's just obvious stuff, but it was enlightening for me when i thought about it. We have some songs ready, made on a laptop earlier an...

Re: Hello there :)

Thanks, I will share something soon, though my songs may sound a bit bare, since I work with a guitarist and bass player now :) It actually makes it a bit less demanding.
