Re: Korg now selling Legacy plugins individualy

Also from what i can gather about the synth architecture i can already do everything it offers in software i already own. Shame. Same here, I will be sticking to u-he ACE. From what i read about the original MS20 is that its modular side on its own isnt that great but when you added modular sequenc...

Re: Korg now selling Legacy plugins individualy

I tried the demo + am a bit disappointed. The gui is a nightmare to work with. Its so small, you got an edit button that zooms in on sections of the synth which scrolls from one side to other. No wonder korg made a dedicated controller for this as i will only ever get this program if i could also ge...

Re: Ways of making a song?

THanks guys for more replies, great stuff here :) Very sound advice there Bryface  - My final cut of Bassfisher is done in half time. Also, the first 1:30 is programmed in song mode. The pattern that starts at 0:30 continues for about 45 seconds, and in that time I have a solo performed on the...

Re: Ways of making a song?

Thanks for replies + great tips everyone :) Nice tip with synced lfo not resetting with a pattern change. Normally use unsynced lfo's on slowest possible speed for background loops. I will just use song mode for listen back sketches. I am currently practicing jamming for a more live approach. Going ...

Ways of making a song?

Just working on my first song on the DS10 in song mode as i am just getting to know + test out the program. I am having trouble getting song to flow with the lack of fills/rolls i am used to doing on a limitless DAW. Also I noticed the synth's lfo resets when patters change even though the same synt...

Re: Hi :)

THanks :) Dont know what the EMX is like, the EM-1 i got is original electribe they did. The sequencer is very adequate for machine but theres a few areas its let down. The sounds are ok for sampled sounds but theres very little in the way costomisizing sounds. You can off course tune down toms for ...

Hi :)

Hi, just got my DS10 this morning. I started off making electronic tunes with music 2000 on PS2 many moons ago then upgraded to the Korg electribe EM1. Now I make use ableton live on a desktop mac. I have been looking for ways of jaming/sketching electonic music on the move, i.e. hammock in garden, ...
