Re: First track out of the Korg DS-10

I would only like to say I did not forget this awesome forum, it's simply I never had the possibility to put myself into korg ds-10 again because I still have to buy my own Nintendo DS and at the time of my first track I was in Paris with the DS of my little brother! But soon I'll buy a Nintendo 3DS...

Something that would be really useful

I was thinkin' about this: if someone who knows exactly what's goin'on in the patch's screen could make a "map", showing various examples of what a patch would do, instead of another, that would be extremely useful. I explain: most of the time I play around with that screen, nothing really happens. ...

Re: First track out of the Korg DS-10

Re: First track out of the Korg DS-10

I'm goin' to read all your links to better understand this subject. One question...so what do you mean, when you speak of leaving a certain amount of dB's? You mean not to push the volume in the final mixing of things to the maximum? To put it really simple: I have synth 1 in the first channel of th...

Re: First track out of the Korg DS-10

I don't remember exactly how I did that sound, however, I'm gonna check it ahah
You mean the "wrlwrl" sound that goes down in the octave?

Surely is something I've found playing around with Kaoss Pad 3, but I have to check how I set it exactly

Re: First track out of the Korg DS-10

Wow, thanks man! ;)

Concerning headroom, you mean I have to give more db of volume to the track? The problem would be I think mixing sounds in the right way in order not to make the song clip, right?
Or maybe I didn't understand so much the headroom story, sorry!

Re: Chord Construction - C Major

yeah that's right, in fact, if you see E is the major third of C and G is the Fifth. So it has to be right.
Always think of what place a note take in the scale which you're referring to (C major in this case)

First track out of the Korg DS-10

http://soundcloud.com/absintize/exploring-sounds Uploaded a few minutes ago... Why is the quality less good than hearing this through the DS or Logic? Don't know.. However, how the title itself says, it's kind of an exploration of some electronic sounds I managed to get with a basic use of the soft...

Re: RECORDINGS -> Recording audio from DS to your computer...

The possible choose was between 44 khz and 48 khz... I read that speaking of korg ds-10 a sample rate over the 48 khz is not good..is it true? However I uploaded the track in soundcloud and this is the result...not bad, but it's so much better if listen through DS or Logic...why? http://soundcloud.c...

Ok...don't why, but opening a new project, now it works. ahahah ??

However, it remains the doubt about the sample rate! Gonna check around, tell me if you know (surely you know)

Re: RECORDINGS -> Recording audio from DS to your computer...

...ok I don't know if it's a curse or what ahah... I was ready and plugged to record on logic the famous first try at korg ds and this time, it doesn't seem to "hear" nothing from the m-audio...(from the ds to the m-audio it works, because m-audio react with all her beautiful leds when I press play ...

Re: Lost Soul

One thing I can say is that the laser sounds are too much in forefront, resulting in something not very pleasant to hear.

Sounds at the start of the song are pretty!

Re: Chord Construction - C Major

Could you continue this section about chords?
speaking of other types of chords but most important on the concept of chord progressions and why some chords give that flavour to the music instead than another :)
That would be amazingly useful!!
