My first show.

Post by SS7117 » Mon Jul 11, 2011 5:50 pm

I guess i played my first live performence recently at a friends party. It went well however i was only using one DS an cart so there would be awkward gap in between songs. A couple of people actually thought i turned off the radio so i can play a game on my DS. I loved having to explain to my friend what i was doing when they asked if i was playing Pokemon. But overall i had a fun time and hope to play live alot more often.

Or you could hook up a cheap ass delay/reverb pedal or mini Kaoss pad for example, to bridge the gaps with echos/drones.

Or even cheaper, record some drones (using your ds10) onto an old cassette walkman. Even better, add a knob to the walkman to change the pitch/speed http://ofsoundmind.wordpress.com/2008/0 ... a-walkman/

I've done this, hoping to use it to fill some gaps in the future.

My first show was the same sort of thing but it was only friends so they knew what was going on.
