Cymbals being cut off short?

Post by the silph scope » Thu Oct 13, 2011 9:52 am

This keeps happening in a lot of the stuff I try and do for the M01.
In some parts of a song the cymbals randomly start sounding like they're getting cut off.
It's very, very annoying.

Any one else have this problem or know why it happens? Is there a way to stop it from happening?

Here's an audio sample of what I mean:

Listen to the cymbals before and after the strings come in.

Are you using too many voices? Then it drops layers. A little asterisk (*) appears behind the number of voices when that happens. "Voice=16*" I believe.

edit:

it can also be "Voice=13*" for example, I just noticed in this video.

Make sure you have no asterisks

Ah, I'll take a look at that when I get a chance. Thanks!
