FacePalmTree (1980s SciFi soundtrack on Korg M01)

I made this song yesterday and today, and it reminds me a lot of the soundtracks from 1980s scifi movies like Terminator or Tron. I hope you like it! Constructive criticism is welcome.

I'm actually pretty dang proud of this one, so if you're going to critique a song of mine, choose this one!

Dude this is awesome. Only thing I can't really get used to for 100% is this fake M01 drumkit, it's not lo-fi enough for chiptune, and not hi-fi enough for a real sound. But the awesome bass and lead make up for it :D. Nice bridge as wel at 1:30, catchy stuff!

reminded me a bit of one of my favorite games tracks ever

Thanks man! I know that for most musicians, these midi-quality drums are a little abrasive, but I love 'em. Have you ever heard of CasioCore music? It's music made with old casio keyboards and stuff. Very strange sounding, sort of like the drums I used:



That Intro makes me want to play Turrican II pretty bad. What systems was that game for?
