Serenity (Ambient w/ Nature sounds)

Post by mistyminds » Wed Aug 03, 2011 4:36 am

Hi.

This is a song where I am switching and playing M01 SE sounds live
while repeating a base track composed of 3 scenes, and 3 tracks.

Track 1: EX) 5thStab
Track 2: EX) StrChord
Track 3: EX)DarkBass
Track 4: ★switching SE sounds
Track 5: EX) Noise (used at the end)
Track 6: EX) Stream (used at the end)

I don't think I've seen much from this genre using M01.
The data is quite simple, but lots of fun to play with live.

I would love to hear what you think!

Thanks,

This is quite impressive. Simple but powerful structure with these chords. Love the toms you add in as a bass around 2:00. It's too bad you can't do any filtering on the synths with M01, but maybe you could change the synth sound every now and then

The sounds that come in at 2:00 are actually EX) DarkBass, not toms.
But they do sound similar, like when you apply the delay to toms.

I know I need to work on variation with the backing tracks...
Will work on it! :)

Thanks,
