conquering the sunlight

Post by kloudygirl » Thu Jul 07, 2011 7:30 pm

has anyone found a suitable way to conquer the sunlight glare from outdoor playing? ive been asked to play an outdoor set, but i wouldnt think there's going to be any sort of cover or tent, therefore the sunlight glare will be extreme. ive played outside under the sun before and depending on the time of day it can be overbearing and hard to see the screen even while wearing sunglasses and turning up the brightness on its highest setting. has anyone found a solution to this delema? if so shoot me ur remedies on how to make the sun not so much a factor for outdoor gigs. thanx :D

Have you tested on highest brightness? I've played shows outside and I think I never really had the problem... but maybe I was in the shadow mmm...
