I wonder if it would be possible to release this software on Nintendo 3ds Eshop?
It may need some Modification - for example more Save Files on each program?
This would make the Software available Worldwide without any Physical Distribution problems
I would still need my Hard Cartridge for gigging but it would make the software more accessible. . . .
Korg DS10+ and Korg M01 on 3ds Eshop
Re: Korg DS10+ and Korg M01 on 3ds Eshop
I just saw my old post and realized half of this h has come true already! Is Sano San watching?

Re: Korg DS10+ and Korg M01 on 3ds Eshop
I wish the Korg DS10+ was released on the 3ds with the same functionality except with:
- Keys are able to be press in piano roll like the Korg M01
- Any bugs left that need to be fixed
- Use extra processing power to fit in a mini visual oscillator in the GUI to see our sound waves
leave it like that and make it compatible with sending files with older versions and ill be happy!

I think using Colour coding of patterns on both programs would be good!

that would be great actually, but would pile up on extra programming to remove that feature if data is planning to get sent back to older versions.
I would be angry if Korg M01d is not compatible with the Korg M01 because the only change to the base structure of making music is the allowance of playing 24 sounds at once which does not effect the save file at all. The worse that can happen if you export data back to the old version is that the instruments wont play if the notes go over 12 at once.
Other than that, all the extra features do not effect the save file.
Its still the same exact information you get on the DS version which means you should be able to at least send data from DS version to 3ds version.

Don't be angry! :0 Sano works really hard to produce this software! Be grateful

Re: Korg DS10+ and Korg M01 on 3ds Eshop
Yes I'm very grateful, but there's not really too much of a difference between KorgM01 and KorgM01D. But then again it has never say the day of light outside japan till hopefully next month.
Since the save files have not change at all, import should be a breeze if not, its no big deal but, it would be great to get more mileage out of the countless hours spent on the tracks made with the old Korg M01.
