Hello all

I'll introduce myself later in the relevant forum, but I wanted to try and get some definitive answers about buying the DS-10 Plus in the UK. I've searched the forum (and the web) but still seem to get conflicting info on these issues:

1. Is there a UK release date for the DS-10 Plus?

2. Can I import a copy of DS-10 Plus and run it on a UK bought DSi?

3. Will an imported DS-10 Plus run on a UK bought DSi XL?

4. I'm thinking of importing a DSi XL and DS-10 Plus from the USA - aside from charging the battery, are there any significant issues to be aware of?

Cheers guys - I appreciate these questions have probably been asked a million times before, but I just want to try and work out the best option for me.

Regards and thanks

Leon (a.k.a. Gliiitches)

1. No

2. No

3. No

4. No, but you can't run any UK DSi titles then.

I have a question to add to this.

5. Could I run an imported copy of DS-10 Plus on my DS Lite, albeit with reduced functionality?

Yup, with everything but the dual mode. This means the song mode has some new functions: track muting and live-synth editing during song playback. Unfortunately when switching from song mode to pattern mode and then back to song mode the song starts at the beginning :(.

I've just imported a US DSi and DS10+ software to the UK from the site DVDUSA - http://www.dvdworldusa.com/
they were pretty helpful + even supplied me with a UK power lead/battery charger free. Turnaround was about a week,
good luck

Can I just ask another question related to this just to clarify as have only just dicovered the DS-10 and DS-10 Plus.

Has the DS-10 Plus ever been released as a UK / European region?

just weighing up my option for the best set up.

thanks.

No, it hasnt been released in Europe.

It is possible to download it as a rom from Chinese 'Piracy' websites but the ds10+ does not support Dual Mode when you do this.
Besides, I support paying the developers by buying the product.

YOu can order DS10+ from websites like playasia.com and CDwow.com - they deliver to the uk

You still require a US nintendo DSi to run dual mode.
UK Dsi won't recognise DS10+ at all but can run it as DS10 on a standard Nintendo DS.

I've got 2 x US Dsi's and it's not possible to run Song mode whilst in multiplayer mode...... bah!!!!
