Okay!! I've got everything finished but I've got a few personal notes to get through first. If you are too anxious to get through this just scroll down to my next post and you'll find the link to get your album there.
@DS10-Dominator - I tried for several hours but bandcamp crashed my computer everytime I tried to upload.
So, I uploaded to trusty archive.org instead. You could still grab the .WAV files and upload to
bandcamp if you'd like. Also, I made some modifications to your "storyline" but nothing drastic.
You can see these in my next post or go to the link.
@AnthonySeeha - I didn't combine/crossfade/mix your track with Harleys'. Sorry about that. When you see how
much time I invested in the comp. I hope you'll forgive me.
@mchl nrvs- I decided to use the dry (no delay) ver. of your track.
Everyone who submitted a track WIP or Final is included. So if you posted a WIP but no Final, your WIP is the one I used and vice versa.
I've taken about 60-70 hours to master this comp. so I'm personally quite pleased considering I had to deal with 23 different sources. However, I know that I can't please everyone. I encourage you to just listen to the album as a whole and then do your own comparison of the track you sent me and my master, I feel confident that you will be at least satisfied if not pleased with the results.
Alright, here's the boring technical stuff:
I've done some eq'ing of the tracks just to make them more consistent with each other when analyzed with a real time spectrum analyzer.
All of the tracks will peak at 0.0dbfs.
All the tracks will average about -15 to -12rms.
All tracks will peak between -9.2 and -7.0rms. The average is the more important of the figures though, in terms of apparent volume.
Ok, that's enough of an essay, next post is the fun stuff!
