Mm, almost missed that.Love the idea.

I'll take the Music Room if nobody minds.

Have lots of creepy sounds on DS10 already...But I would like to try something more classical, with cello, violin, hapsichord patches...Like music played by ghosts for ages....

Very nice. Tesla coils zapping around...the gurgling of some concoction... very evocative.

Wow! Warp Token, that is sick. That first THUD! actually got me and even some of the most tense horror movies can't make me jump. Bravo!
My only suggestion would be to bring up the low end bass a little if possible, other than that, this track is awesome.
As these new tracks keep rolling in I'm getting more and more excited about this comp.

So much cool stuff in this. That "roar" at 1:44 just blows me away... I mean wha? That really sounds like someone vocalizing.

OH MY GOD. This is the first I have heard from this compilation and OH MY GWAAAAAAAAAAD was that good. The ending put a huge smile on my face. I LOVED IT.

All the sounds through this were awesome, the only one I thought was a little comical was at 1:18. It just seemed a little silly. would be better if it faded in maybe.

I listened to them all now. More people need to listen to the Lab.

Here it is! Am amazed by the sounds you've all managed to come up with. Some really insane stuff! Mine pales in comparison! I hope you can enjoy it all the same.

P.S. lastedited shouldn't be my name. New to soundcloud so didn't really know what I was doing.

Your track already tells its whole story in about one minute, then it just keeps repeating... with additional really digital not so pleasant sounds... I don't know. My suggestion is to do either 1) more rhythmic variations, concentrate on that or 2) drop the monotonic rhythms and go ambient, add strange sounds here and there, but not constantly

Good suggestions and appraisal; everything you said is true! Can definitely see both of your perspectives. :) And it's for those reasons I enjoy it a great deal as I like repetition and not so pleasant digital sounds and multiple melodies clashing with each other. So I am pretty pleased with the song overall. :P

Like I said, definitely understand where you're coming from and expected this reaction. The good news is that due to my forsight I'm planning a softer version (and also because while I actually do like the song a great deal, it's not really all that creepy except for a couple of sounds) which may be a bit more palletable for most. There's plenty of time for that, though right?

Thank you both for listening and your advice!

Here's the 1st draft version of the track Machine Room from the DS10Forum.COMpilation. Sorry for the silence in the end of the track! Feedback as always!

Very deep sounds, and it really sounds like a Machine Room. Awesome job, thanks for submitting your WIP.
