Hey yeah. I think this might be difficult but if anyone can do it I'm sure you're up to the task...
I've made some natural sounding hi-hats but they've always been closed. An open hi-hat is a different challenge altogether.

I think you can make them with
- a mix of harmonic (square) and disharmonic (noise) signal....
- some pitchbending
- filter opening
kind of like all percussion haha
