Anatomy of the Spirit- Gaia

Post by Anatomy of Spirit » Fri Dec 14, 2012 1:34 am

Hi guys! I am Anatomy of the Spirit and this is my first post here on this site. I would appreciate it if you'd listen to a tune off of a free Korg DS10 album i'm making. I only use the KorgDS10 in all my DS songs. Thank you! :)

Really like the LFO'd wave in the background around 2:40. Great tune.

Sorry I missed this one the first time around but glad I caught it here. Nice tune! Excellent sounds! I really dig that chimey sound used in the main theme. Cool.

this is a great track but I think the production could use some work, everything sounds really loud and compressed, I would play a bit more with the volume settings on each channel to get a better sound.

That is true but the loud and compressed sound reminds me of the FM synthesis style used in video games especially classic action arcade games.

Thanks for your input! I agree that it really feels compressed, but I was going for more of a classic 16bit console and arcade-like style in terms of volume. I was thinking of actually lowering the cutoff of some instruments before I posted it. But thank all of you for listening!
