Hi all,
I made a track using the NES-style music techniques from this forum and submitted it for the Chiptunes=WIN Volume 2 compilation. You can download it for free along with 50 other tracks.

Re: NEStonic
Very Very awesome! Nice job with the pulse wavs and great job on adding in the vibrato! Reminds me of david wise's patches on nes.

Dude this is awesome. You hit the NES style spot on. I heard a little bit of the Korg DS10 "accent" (that's what i'll call it) in the right panned instrument, but it still sounded like an NES styled jam. Awesome work!

Re: NEStonic
The right panned part may sound kind of Korgy only maybe because of the vibrato, but that sound can be fully achieved on the nes with no problem, the person who is very famous for that technique, is composer david wise, he has a unique way to make nes music. But I think one of his best works is Wizards and Warriors X on game boy, I'm looking forward to covering one of the tracks.Anatomy of Spirit wrote:Dude this is awesome. You hit the NES style spot on.
