By MC do you mean MC 303? I think I recognize the kick form the MC 303 (or 505 or whatever since they recycled those basic samples).

Was this live or dubs in a DAW? A making-of video would be cool to see the creation process. But I guess that would require some foresight or a time-machine.

In this style of music you wouldn't call them a rapper.
The instrumental was made purely on DS-10 then the vocals were recorded at a studio and then mixed in to the track using ableton.
