New song! Pattern 17.

Post by trnsprnt » Thu May 20, 2010 1:01 am

Hi everyone.

I just finished a song and made the video for it. I'm running out of ideas and gifs for the next videos...

Spacey tune. I like it. I laughed when the eyeball explosions synced up with the swoosh. Exploding eyeballs make me laugh I guess.

Glad you liked it! It's the first time I play a melody...

That exploding eyes gif is taken from the movie Scanners, by David Cronenberg, by the way. And I find it funny too. :)

I thought that might have been from Scanners. Cronenberg is Canadian as am I, and the CBC used to show his films on Sunday afternoons to meet Canadian content programming regulations (there wasn't that many Canadian productions at the time) so it made for some very strange Sunday afternoons.

Well, in my point of view those were some strange but lucky Sunday afternoons. I like Cronenberg a lot, specially his first era, though his last films, the ones with Viggo Mortensen, are terrific

I love this always the same/always changing melody. One of my ds10 favourites so far (I was missing this video, mate...)

Oh, you are being too generous, man. There's a lot of better songs in this forum than mine, but thank you. Much appreciated. : D

Yes, that's an important fact when recording a song. If even your gf doesn't like it... you're fucked up. :/
