Hey Ugo! These tunes are very cool! I especially like the second one. The voices are all very complimentary and the counterpoint between them is nice. The visualization is also very cool and suits the music very well. Nice.

I agree with Syscrusher - and very good sound design in the second too, I think it's one your best tracks so far.

Nice tracks! Couldn't resist Mr. Payne's idea and tried play a few at the same time as well. Surprising how well it works actually. Really liked 69 and 72. Where do you get those cool visualizations?

Man, if i had a dime every time this question is asked, i'd have 50 cents by now :)

heres the full story (i've never told anyone, well, until today):
when i started making korg ds-10 tracks, there was something that kinda bugged me: how on Earth was I gonna put them on youtube (in a somewhat interesting way)? some kind of visualization thingy was needed. first, i thought about a simple light organ, you know the lights that go on at certain frequencies, a la 70s. Lo and behold, i couldn't find anything. something else was to be found. after some google searching, i became really interested in the various visualization plugins winamp supports. i settled on milkdrop because that's the 1 i was able to make work with a frame grabber called fraps. it seems that these days there are tons of alternatives for both viz and screen grabbing (hypercam for instance). i don't have a very powerful pc (and don't want to generate humongous files) so i grab at low size and resize the vid in virtualdub so that it seems to be at a higher resolution. Now, to avoid sync problems, i actually record the sound as the video is played (grabbing frames and sound at the same time). i used to record the video without sound and mux the sound later (the actual wav or mp3 of the track) and there was always a risk of screwing up (not that it couldn't be fixed by shifting the audio but it's a bit of a hassle).

btw, Syscrusher, weren't you supposed to change your musical moniker?

looks like i haven't put up any tracks in a while. about to change today.

i am kinda revisiting my old tracks, so here's "track 08" on the cloud:

https://soundcloud.com/ugocapeto/track-08

tracks 01 to 07 are on my korg ds 10 soundcloud account: http://soundcloud.com/ugocapeto if you are fond of this kind of tracks. As soon as i have revisited the first 12, i'll put an album on the bandcamp.
