my first KORG DS-10 composition

Post by nikola » Thu Oct 20, 2011 5:06 pm

Hello, I got my KORG DS-10 a few days ago, and have been working out some music with it. Here is one of the tracks I came up with: ... korg-ds-10

You can find others (and older chiptune stuff/compo stuff) on my soundcloud page as well.

Using KORG DS-10 is really fun, but totally new and different from the way I wrote music before, so it will take some getting used to. One day I'd like to be proficient enough to play shows or something, that'd be amazing. Anyways, let me know what you think! Also, I love all the stuff I've heard from users on this site so far, I'll definitely be looking for more!

Welcome! You already have some nice sounds for a first composition, I particularly like the first groove (the first minute). IMO you could work a little bit on the drum sound, I found the kick sample a bit too high pitched and the snare/hithat a bit too common. Looking forward to hear some tracks from you.
