Introducing myself.

Post by alex » Mon Apr 12, 2010 4:15 pm

Hello. I'm Alex. I'm 31 and live in Birmingham, England.

I'm no musician, but I used to play the drums a bit and I had a little experience on sample based tracker programmes when I was a teenager. I've also got a Stylophone and a Stylophone Beatbox, which I'm very bad at.

I found this forum from the All Things KORG DS-10 blog. And it seems that the two sites offer a really great level of resources and support which doesn't seem to be anywhere else. I haven't really got to listen to anyone's work yet so I guess that's where I'll start.

Yeah.

Looking forward to those tutorials. After a six month break off the DS-10 due to a broken DS I was convinced I could fix by myself, but couldn't, I'm just easing myself back in to it. Been using the XSEED Games tutorials and the whole EG INT thing made sense this time so that was nice.

So after having lost my DS lite (with my copy of Korg DS-10 in it) replaced with a nice new 3DS, and my second hand copy of Korg DS-10 winging its way over, I shall be back.

And this time I might even submit something.

Looking forward to you submissions! Just hope your copy of korg works in your DS, 3DS I think is region locked after all.

Welcome! :)

It's the bog-standard first release, so it works fine. Yay.
