Haha! Snatched it up just in the nick of time. I ordered mine on saturday, but it shipped today! A nice reward for getting all my wisdom teeth pulled today.

Anyway, I'm too young (1991) to have been around when the Korg M1 was new but I sure recognize it's sounds, and will eagerly await making some cheezy 80's and early 90's M1 music with it.

Question: Can you save (or even Edit) patches? I'm sure there would be so much cool stuff to do with the wave ROM.

Unfortunately, you can't save or edit patches. You are restricted to the original sounds

You can adjust the velocity and release of the instrument only - this can be saved in the Song File.
And you can adjust overall Reverb/Delay and select which instruments to apply it to. . . .

nope, the attack changes the instrument's start volume curve, the velocity changes a note's volume.

I got my M-01 this week from eBay seller " akashatu " (Positive Feedback: 100%). If anyone interested it is US $111.37 + free international shipping and it took only 7 days from Japan to being delivered to my home address in Ecuador, South America :shock:

so it is very reliable or I might be lucky. It works great on my US DSi XL
