Finally I listened to you release, here are my first thoughts :

Distance: I like theses fat synthesizer, this track has a great ambiance.
CognitiveDissonance: Good snare drum sound but too much emphasized in the mix
ChaseScene: the bass line is a bit repetitive
HeavyEquipment: hum not my cup of tea, too industrial
RequiemForPhobos: reminds me doom the game (and the song's name also)

You got some nice sounds, I have nothing to say about the other tracks (that I didn't mention) because it's not my style of music, I can't really comment (you know, taste and color...)

Thanks for listening Geolm. HaHa! yeah my stuff is different as is everyone elses music. It won't be for everybody.
Again, thank you very much for listening. This is the product of 1-1/2 year of music I've made with the DS10 and I finally have enough to share!

I understand that everyone has its own style that's why I didn't want to write some useless comments like "I don't like reggae could you make some techno music" and stuff like that. Also I am very impressed by people who manage to release a full length album, I know it's a hard work since I try myself to make one and I have not succeeded right now. Respect :)

I'm just curious, to those of you who are really into electronic music, what category would my stuff fall into?
In all honesty I'm very ignorant when it comes down to the subtle aspects of electronic music. I'm a singer in a rock band, we're not the brightest.
Thank You so very much to all who have downloaded/listened to my album, I really cannot thank you enough. :)

Thanks Syscrusher! It's kind of funny to me that you mention Early Reflections. IMO it was the weakest, hence it being the last track, but I just couldn't bring myself to can it because of the 'waltz like' breakdown.
It only ended up with that title (Early Reflections) because of the convolution reverb that I used in mixdown which had very over-accentuated early reflections in the output.
Thank you again for listening and for spending a bit of your time on my stuff. :)

Funny, my iTunes mixed up the order of your album so I didn't have any "last track bias" when listening to Early Reflections. You never can tell what's going to stick with someone eh?

That's really so true Syscrusher. Thus far the overall most popular track has been The Chase Scene, but I've recieved positive comments on every track except Heavy Equipment. This I can understand because that tune was intentionally written to be abrasive. However, almost everyone picks a different tune as their favorite, going back to your point.
It's just today gotten over thirty downloads, so I'm fairly pleased with the reception so far. I really wasn't expecting even near that much so quickly.
Funny though that every forum site I've linked it to I've gotten much more response than from my facebook friends, 90% of whom I do know personally. Not to suggest that I don't value everyone here, and elsewhere's opinions, it's just kind of funny.
Yet again, thank you all who have given these tunes a listen and given me a chance regardless if you comment or not.
