I submitted this entry, if that's okay. I did the courtyard, 'cuz the first post said that nobody had done that yet! I tried to incorporate wind-noises, bird-noises and a wooden-sounding snare. It's still a little weird for a courtyard, but I think it works well!
What do ya think?

The intro is funny, although I think you can definitely make better bird sounds. Just listen to bird sounds for a minute.
I like the parts after that, although I think they're more happy than creepy. But that fits with the courtyard, it could be a kind of rest-point in the story.
The third part, when the bass comes in, is really catchy and harmonic.
I was kind of hoping for a sudden half-time part to come after that, I think you can bring great contrast by starting "happy" like this and then suddenly going slower and lower and creepier.
I think the last two parts are too full, especially with eery music you can strip down a lot of elements, and in stead of that use dynamics etc. The lower played melody is really cool. Why use all the beat-stuff when you have the chance to do something different now?
edit: actually while listening again I think the end parts are quite cool as well... just see my criticism as idea, you (of course) don't have to do anything with em
You're on the right track, especially cool melodies, hope my criticism is appreciated.
